Information Accuracy

Correct as of 13/02/2026

Bourne Baptist Church is committed to ensuring that all information shared on this website is accurate, relevant, and kept as up to date as possible. We regularly review our content so that event details, ministry information, and resources remain helpful and reliable for everyone who visits our site.

However, from time to time, details such as dates, times, or programme information may change after publication. While we do our best to update content promptly, we encourage visitors to contact the church office directly if they need confirmation about specific events or activities.

If you notice anything on our website that appears incorrect or out of date, we would be grateful if you let us know so we can amend it quickly.

Image Use & Attribution

Correct as of 13/02/2026

We are thankful for the many talented creators who make high-quality images available for use. Some of the images featured on this website were not taken by members of Bourne Baptist Church but are used under licence from Freepik.

To avoid listing individual credits on every page and making this section unnecessarily long, we would like to express our collective appreciation to the designers and photographers who contribute their work through Freepik and make these resources available for organisations like ours.

Where required, we ensure that image use complies with Freepik’s licensing and attribution guidelines. All other photographs on this website are the property of Bourne Baptist Church and may not be reproduced without permission.

If you are the creator of an image used on this site and have any questions about attribution, please contact us and we will be happy to respond.

Our Marketing Usage

Correct as of 13/02/2026

As outlined above, a proportion of our marketing materials incorporate images sourced from external providers. However, we also make use of photographs taken internally to accurately reflect the life and activities of our church community. All internally captured images are obtained and used in strict accordance with our Child Protection Policy. In line with this policy, we aim to take photographs primarily within our Youth Work settings and avoid photography within our Children & Families Work wherever possible, in order to maintain appropriate safeguarding standards.

All internal photography is carried out transparently and respectfully. When taking photographs of members of the church, we ensure that individuals are aware that photography is taking place and have given their consent. No images are taken or used without the knowledge of those involved.

On occasion, photography may take place during outreach events or Sunday gatherings where it is not always practicable to obtain individual consent from every attendee. In such circumstances, images are captured in a way that respects privacy and minimises identification. This typically involves focusing on stage activities, speakers, or wider-angle shots of the setting, ensuring that individuals are not the primary subject without their prior consent. We take reasonable steps to avoid the clear identification of attendees who have not given permission.

Where images of young people are used, we ensure that appropriate consent procedures are followed. This includes obtaining explicit permission from parents or guardians, as well as, where appropriate, the informed consent of the young people themselves. In the case of younger children, parental or guardian consent is always required prior to any image being captured or used. We are committed to handling all images responsibly, ensuring they are used respectfully, stored securely, and only used for their intended purpose.

While the term “marketing” is often associated with the commercial promotion or sale of products and services, our use of marketing is rooted in a different context. For us, marketing is about communicating the mission, activities, and opportunities within our church. It serves as a means of sharing what we offer with the wider community, encouraging engagement, and extending an open invitation for individuals and families to join us, particularly in our Sunday gatherings and other church activities.
