Children and Families Work

My name is Mihaela Jones and I am the Children and Families Worker here.
As a church, we value children and families very much.
We look to offer everyone a safe place to grow with God, connect with each other and discover how best they can serve others. We would love to invite you to our groups: Toddle-In, Kids Club, Kids Church, Who Let The Dads Out
We also run exciting seasonal events like our all age Easter event, our Holiday Club in July, our Light Party on Halloween and our interactive Nativity Service at Christmas. Please look out on our website for more information nearer the time.
Our work with children wouldn’t be possible without the support of a great team of volunteers. We recognise that children are precious, and we take their safety seriously. All those working with our children are recruited in adherence with our Safeguarding policy (full details are on display and available electronically on request)

Tuesday Toddle-In
Toddle-In is our adult and baby/toddler group which runs every Tuesday (term time) from 9.30-11.30am in our back hall. We have loads of exciting toys and activities that the toddlers enjoy. The adults have a chance to chat and have a hot drink while supervising the fun. We charge £1 to help cover the costs. We are a friendly community and everyone is made to feel welcome. Please arrive at the back of our hall near the old post office entrance. We’d love to see you.
Kids Club @ Elsea Park
Kids Club – Meeting every Wednesday (term time) in the Elsea Park Community Centre (PE10 0US) from 3.45 to 4.45pm. Children in reception to year 2 engage in a fun session filled with games, craft, singing, a Bible story and a snack. Families are welcome to wait for their child in the Centre where there’s an opportunity to make some new friends over a cuppa and a biscuit (or two). We charge £2 per session to help cover costs. Kids Church
As part of our weekly church service, we offer a Kids Church. Children (primary school age) will be invited to the back hall for songs, games, Bible stories, crafts and biscuits. We’d love to see you – Sundays from 10.30am to 12pm. We start at church first (10.30am) and shortly into the service, parents are asked to drop off their children to our back hall which gives all ages a chance to connect with God and grow in a safe community.
Who Let The Dads Out
Who Let the Dad’s Out – A group where dads/male carers can take their children (babies to primary school age) to play whilst they enjoy the company of others. Usually takes place on the 2nd Saturday of each month in our back hall with the occasional walk, maybe even as far as Bourne Woods! There are toys and activities for the children and quite often a bacon buttie for those feeling peckish. Donations for refreshments are welcome.
