From Wednesday 29 July to Sunday 2 August, Bourne Baptist Church was filled with energy, laughter and excitement as more than 50 children came together for the ‘No Greater Life’ Holiday Club 2026.
Over four action-packed days, children took part in a varied programme packed with creative crafts, exciting games, lively worship and interactive Bible teaching, all centred around the theme No Greater Life. Each day brought new opportunities to learn, create, play and discover more about the Christian faith, while building friendships and creating memories along the way.
A key part of the programme was a series of engaging drama performances produced by the Big Start Team at Spring Harvest. Through humour, storytelling and memorable characters, the dramas helped bring the Bible’s message to life, giving children an engaging and accessible way to explore the themes running throughout the week.
The excitement continued with a team-versus-team competition running throughout the Holiday Club. Children were divided into teams and earned points by taking part in challenges, games and activities. With every point counting towards the final result, children were encouraged to work together, support one another and give their best as they competed for the chance to lead their team to victory.
Beyond the games and activities, the week provided a space for children to ask questions, explore faith, build confidence and discover what it means to live a life centred on Jesus. From energetic group activities to quieter moments of reflection and teaching, every part of the programme was designed to make the week enjoyable, meaningful and memorable.
The week concluded on Sunday 2nd August with a special All Age Holiday Club Service, bringing children, families and the wider church family together to celebrate everything that had taken place throughout the week. It was a fitting opportunity to reflect on the stories, songs, friendships and experiences shared during the Holiday Club.
With more than 50 children taking part, No Greater Life was a memorable week for Bourne Baptist Church, filled with fun, faith, friendship and plenty of unforgettable moments.
